ENGINEERING PROJECTS & GLOBAL APPLICATION
Project Name: 108-Meter Bailey Bridge Project in Malaysia
Project Location: Malaysia
Product Used: Quadruple-Single Reinforced Bailey Bridge (Type 200)
Project Overview: The bridge is assembled using quadruple-single reinforced Type 200 Bailey trusses with a span of 108 meters, representing a typical example of a long-span Bailey bridge. The reinforced Type 200 design, combined with the quadruple-truss configuration, ensures high-strength load-bearing capacity and structural stability, enabling it to accommodate heavy vehicles. Two cylindrical concrete piers are installed to effectively disperse the load of the long-span bridge, adapting to the complex geological and hydrological conditions of tropical rainforest regions. The bridge body is galvanized for long-lasting corrosion resistance. Spanning a tropical river and surrounded by dense rainforest and muddy riverbanks, it is well-suited to the hot, rainy climate and soft geological conditions of Southeast Asia. As a critical river-crossing passage in Malaysia, it handles heavy-load transportation and daily traffic, serving as a key transportation hub connecting the rainforest area with the outside world.
