Project Overview: The structure is assembled using multi-row, multi-layer customized Bailey trusses. The combination of dense Bailey panel groups and blue steel column foundations forms a high-strength load-bearing frame capable of withstanding loads from large-tonnage box girders and construction equipment. Tailored specifically for the long-span, high-load construction requirements of the Shiziyang Passage, the Bailey trusses have been specially optimized to enhance transverse stiffness and overall stability, adapting to complex bridge construction conditions. Serving the Shiziyang Passage, a major cross-sea transportation project, it accommodates the open construction sites and complex geological and hydrological conditions typical of the coastal Pearl River Delta region. As a temporary load-bearing platform for box girder erection, the Bailey support system resolves the load-bearing challenges of in-situ assembly of long-span cross-sea box girders, serving as a critical temporary structure ensuring construction quality and schedule of the cross-sea bridge.
